20/20 Honor Roll: Gender Diversity in Maryland

Annually, Executive Alliance analyzes the representation of women at the highest levels at publicly-traded companies headquartered in Maryland through its Annual Census Report. Our Honor Roll designation highlights publicly-traded companies headquartered in Maryland that employ women in at least 20% of their executive leadership roles AND have women in at least 20% of their board of director seats.
Held virtually July 15th from 11 am—12:30 pm, 20/20 Honor Roll will showcase the companies that are changing the conversation about professional women in Maryland and feature a round table discussion. Attendees will also receive our acclaimed annual Census Report.

A strong advocate for children, Violet M. Apple has been dedicated to the development and extension of services to girls for over 25 years.
Violet become Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Central Maryland in 2014. Since 2008, Violet served as Chief Membership Services Officer for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, headquartered in Boston, and Chief Operating Officer for Girls Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (headquarter in Harrisburg PA).
In addition, she has received the following awards: 2016 Daily Record Top 100 Women Award, SMART CEO 2015 Winner – Circle of Excellence, SMART CEO – 2015 Brava Award Winner, YWCA Racial Justice Award in 2007, Women Who Care Award in 2005 and she was awarded the Thanks Badge, the highest award given by Girl Scouts of the USA.
