Joyce A. Kuhns is a principal attorney at Offit Kurman, P.A., one of the fastest growing law firms in the United States today. A member of the firm’s Creditors Rights, Reorganization and Bankruptcy group, as well as its Distressed Real Estate group, Joyce has extensive experience at the national and regional level, from the boardroom to the courtroom, in trial and appellate courts, in restructuring and refinancing businesses across market sectors. An experienced C-Suite advisor and board leader, Joyce uses her unique blend of business, legal and strategic legal skills to reposition companies to maximize stakeholder gains and achieve sustainable solutions. Joyce is a member of the Board of Directors of Executive Alliance and is currently co-chair of its Women on Boards Committee.

Katie Berger runs all things People at Bolster, which is an executive search firm that matches CEOs with transformational executives, mentors, and board members without the hassle of traditional talent sourcing. Her passion is around building highly effective teams and creating inclusive and people-focused workplaces. When she’s not helping Bolster companies and teams, Katie loves spending time with her family, working out, being outside, and beaches. 

 

Lissa L. Broome, Burton Craige Distinguished Professor, Director Diversity Initiative, UNC School of Law, Chapel Hill

 

Lissa Lamkin Broome is the Burton Craige Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Law, director of the school’s Center for Banking and Finance, adviser to the North Carolina Banking Institute journal, and head of the school’s Director Development Initiative, which works to foster the inclusion of underrepresented groups on corporate boards of directors. Broome also serves as UNC’s Faculty Athletics Representative to the Atlantic Coast Conference and the NCAA.

 

Kristine Haecker, Account Manager, Equilar Diversity Network Partners

 

 

Kristine works with over 50 Equilar Diversity Network partners to advance diversity initiatives focused on the boardroom and C-Suite. She works closely with Equilar’s professional services and PE/VC clients who are searching for board talent to identify top candidates in the Equilar ExecAtlas database. Her passion and expertise make her an influential advocate for transformative leadership diversity.
