Executive Alliance brings entrepreneur, author and philanthropist Pinky Cole to Women of Excellence October 26th event in Baltimore

July 13, 2023

Executive Alliance,  will host Pinky Cole, the visionary, founder and CEO of fast-growing Slutty Vegan at its acclaimed Women of Excellence event on Thursday, October 26th.

Women of Excellence brings together over 800 top women leaders and their supporters in a mix and mingle cocktail party with heavy appetizers anchored by an inspiring conversation with our keynote speaker, Pinky Cole.

Slutty Vegan was formed in Atlanta in 2018 and has reimagined vegan food with crave-worthy, indulgent menus for vegans and meat-eaters.  Cole has grown the brand from a $10,000 investment in a food truck to over $100 million business with national presence – all before turning 35.  Moving beyond the initial restaurant brand, Cole released a best-selling cookbook, Eat Plants, B*tch in 2022 and established The Pinky Cole Foundation, focused on empowering generations of color to win in life, financially, and in the pursuit of their entrepreneurial dreams.   Cole’s second book I Hope You Fail, a guide to treating failure as a lesson on the path to success,  will be published on October 10, 2023.

Cole has strong ties to Baltimore, born and raised in East Baltimore to immigrant Jamaican parents.  She attended both City College and Western High School and credits the city for her grit and determination, saying “Even though I left when I was 17, I am who I am because Baltimore propelled me to fly and be free, and just not be afraid.”
