In the last year, Rafaella was appointed to a group of three to lead their organizational strategy at the Y. Their deep dive into workforce engagement, member inclusion, and generational shifts has been meaningful and has guided critical decision-making. Her most important professional accomplishment is working closely with Dr. Lisa Williams, our Senior Vice President of Strategy, Equity, and Innovation. She has taught Rafaella to apply an equity lens to my analytical work, emphasizing the need to consider groups that may be disproportionately affected, unintended consequences, and multiple stakeholder perspectives in our decision-making. This approach has led to more inclusive and equitable outcomes in their projects and decisions.
